الوصف

Mode of action:

The soluble fiber Cos-64® is a natural a bulk-forming laxative fiber. It is not digested in the body. It has an extraordinarily high water holding capacity, and forms highly viscous solutions in water. It acts by absorbing water and retaining it in the gastrointestinal tract and it causes softening of stool mass. Cos-64® enlarges the stool, which stimulates propulsive movements in the gastrointestinal tract and encourages the passage of stool.

Dosage and use:

Bowel Movement Stimulation capsules must not be used for longer than 30 days in one treatment period. After 4 days treatment may be resumed. The capsule must be swallowed in whole.

Adults: Take 3 x 2 capsules daily, 1 hour before meals, with 1 large glass of water (+/- 250 ml).
Children 10 years and older: 3 x 1 capsule daily, 1 hour before meals, with 1 large glass of water (+/- 250 ml).

Do not exceed daily dosage.

Ingredients/allergens:

The product is based on vegetable ingredients: Konjac gum, Amylum solani, Hypromellose (E464), Titanium dioxide (E171), Oleum Helianthus.

Bowel Movement Stimulation capsules are suitable for vegetarians. This product is free of allergens, lactose and gluten

Contra-indications:

Bowel Movement Stimulation capsules lower blood glucose levels. Usage in combination with other diet supplements/ medicines that have similar hypoglycemic effect is therefore not recommended. Oral medication must be taken either 1 hour before or 4 hours after taking Bowel Movement Stimulation capsules.

Pregnancy/breast feeding:

Consult a physician before using Bowel Movement Stimulation capsules when pregnant or lactating.

Side effects:

Bowel Movement Stimulation capsules are well tolerated and has few side effects. Mild stomach and intestinal complaints may arise, such as slight diarrhea, reflux and gas. These side effects usually disappear after a few days. Consult your physician if complaints last longer than 3 days.
